Jeb Dunnuck

Coming from vineyards around Tournon in the southern part of the appellation, the 2016 Saint Joseph reveals a ruby/purple color as well as attractive notes of blackberries, peppery herbs, and earth. It’s medium-bodied, has solid overall balance, plenty of tannins, and the charming, classic style of the vintage front and center. While good, it’s a solid step back from the 2015.

Wine Advocate

Sourced from the hillsides around Tournon, the 2016 Saint Joseph Domaine les Alexandrins features attractive notions of violets, mocha and loam. Full-bodied and supple, the flavors of cola and dark-skinned plum remain bright and vibrant on the finish. It should drink well for 6-7 years.
