For these three men, steeped in the expertise of their parents and grandparents, the estate should produce wines in the very purest tradition of the Crozes-Hermitage and Saint-Joseph appellations, from vines planted on historic terroirs. So the estate has limited appellations (Crozes-Hermitage, Saint- Joseph) and restricted volumes. Work in the vineyard is carried out «old style», following the tradition of the winegrowers of the region. On these parcels, the soil is worked all year round so that the earth can breathe and the vines flourish. This is the case for the Syrah vines of over 70 years of age in Crozes-Hermitage. And also for the forgotten, 90-year-old vines in Tournon, for the Saint-Joseph wines. And every year, whether vinifying in whole clusters or otherwise, Domaine Les Alexandrins demonstrates its skill. Crozes-Hermitage and Saint- Joseph display classicism in all its authenticity, purity and beauty.
